Walkers and PETA provide contrasting Christmas tales


A lot of the UK’s Christmas biggies have come and (generally) gone – although it isn’t December but – however listed here are two (relative) oddments.

First an in-house effort for Walkers, which appears to not have engaged company VCCP for some motive.

Then PETA with a diverting seasonal story, roughly talking exploring why turkeys are unlikely to vote for Christmas.

Walkers’ effort might have come from any period in promoting though it’s a shock to see one thing so, properly, mundane coming from a giant advertiser. Should be what some purchasers nonetheless suppose Christmas promoting ought to be.

PETA, in selling a vegan Christmas, could also be pushing at an more and more open door. One other issue for the turkeys is that the rattling issues now break the bank, in case you purchase them from someplace posh anyway.
