Bing appears to be testing putting labels that describe the search end result itemizing, on the left facet bar of the search end result itemizing. It appears the label will assist outline what the search end result itemizing is about, perhaps itemizing out a few of its entities.
Frank Sandtmann noticed this and posted this screenshot on Mastodon (click on to enlarge):
Frank stated, “Probably these bins characterize entities and fundamental key phrases of those pages.” “At first look I don´t see the benefit for normal customers. So, perhaps that is giving a glimpse into how Bing organizes outcomes? Perhaps it is not meant for the general public?”
