Calvi can also be the writer of two historic fiction novels, together with Pricey George, Pricey Mary: A Novel of George Washington’s First Love. She has not too long ago been transcribing love letters from Teddy Roosevelt and his past love, Alice Lee. This has led to a second historic fiction novel, If a Poem Might Stay and Breathe: A Novel of Teddy Roosevelt’s First Love.
